Majors (11-12): Time limit shall be 1 hour 30 minutes or 7 innings, whichever comes first.

 

Run rule shall be 10 after 3 ½ innings if home team is ahead, or 4 innings if visiting team ahead.

Pitching rubber shall be placed 50 ft. from home plate. Bases shall be 70 ft. This allows for leading off by the base runners.

For the first 2 calendar weeks of the season, pitchers shall be given one warning per game for a balk. When the warning is issued, runners shall return to the base they were on when the balk occurred. After the warning, all balk rules apply. After the first 2 calendar weeks of the season, all balk rules will apply.

 

We are not using the Extra Player option from the rule book.

 

A courtesy runner can be allowed for the catcher, so that the catcher can return to the dugout to get his gear on to prepare for the next inning.

 

New pitchers are allowed up to 8 pitches for warm up purposes.

All intact teams will follow the OKKIDS rulebook with the above exceptions. All draft teams will follow the Cal Ripken rulebook with the above exceptions.
