Minors (9-10): Time limit shall be 1 hour and 30 minutes or six innings, whichever comes first.

 

Run rule shall be 10 after 3 ½ innings if home team is ahead, or 4 innings if visiting team ahead.

 

Pitching rubber shall be placed 42 ft. from home plate. Bases shall be 60 ft. No leading off. Stealing is allowed. A player cannot leave a base to steal until the ball passes the batter at home plate.

 

There is no balk in this age group.

 

New pitchers are allowed up to 8 pitches for warm up purposes.

There shall be a run limit of 6 runs per half inning.

 

An Extra Hitter shall be allowed in the lineup. This shall not count toward minimum playing time. The player is still

required to play the field for 6 defensive outs.

 

There shall be free substitution, providing the substitutions return to their original spot in the batting order.

All intact teams will follow the OKKIDS rules with the above exceptions. Draft teams will follow the Cal Ripken rules with the above exceptions.
